Initial cost of the card is $1.50. As a result of this new service, the Credit Union will be no longer offer American Express Travelers Checks and Gift Checks after June 15, 2008.
Money Orders If you need a money order for any reason, we can help. Money orders may be purchased at the both credit union locations in amounts up to $1,000 for a nominal fee. Members pay $.50 for money orders up to $1000. For non-members, all money orders cost $1. Cashier’s Checks Sometimes you need a cashier's check when paying for that special purchase such as a house or an investment. Cashier's checks are available at Kansas Blue Cross Blue Shield Credit Union, and can be purchased with funds in one of your Credit Union accounts at both of our convenient locations. Cashier’s checks cost $1.00 each. Kansas Blue Cross Blue Shield Credit Union can help you get away from it all at a discount. We are happy to sell discount tickets to several regional amusement parks. If you are planning a trip to Kansas City or Branson, be sure to get your tickets to Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, Silver Dollar City, and White Water before you leave. Please plan ahead to stop by the lobby to purchase your tickets, as they are not available through the drive-up window.
