PAT, the Personal Audio Teller
PAT gives you 24/7 access to your credit union accounts, even on holidays! You can access the Personal Audio Teller from your home, office - anywhere there is a touch-tone phone. Make transfers from one account to another, check your current balance, request a withdrawal from shares or an advance from your line of credit (a check is mailed to you the next business day), even receive the latest information on withdrawals, checks cleared, or your last deposit. With PAT, you have around-the-clock access to your savings, checking, and loan accounts.
To use the Personal Audio Teller, you need:

- Your PIN (a 4 digit password)
CARD SERVICES

Sooner or later, it's bound to happen. You come across an unexpected sale or you need to pick up the dry cleaning and you don't have your checkbook or any extra cash with you. Don't worry, reach for your convenient VISA Check Card. Your purchases are deducted right from your checking account and detailed on your monthly statement. No checkbooks. No IDs. No hassles!
Your VISA Check Card does double duty as an ATM card too! You can use your card to get cash right from your checking or savings account at thousands of CIRRUS ATMs worldwide. You can also make transfers between savings and checking within your account.
A TransFund ATM Card allows you access to your primary savings and/or share draft checking account at any CIRRUS automated teller machine. As an added convenience, you can pay for purchases directly from your checking account by using the swipe POS terminal at your local merchant’s checkout lane.
ATM Network
Kansas Blue Cross Blue Shield Credit Union participates in a cooperative ATM network to provide surcharge free ATM access at over 135 ATMs in Kansas, including Topeka, Lawrence, Kansas City, Manhattan, and Wichita. Click http://www.cuatmnetwork.com/ to view a current listing of locations.
Direct Deposit
The safest, most convenient way to deposit your paycheck, Social Security, pension, or other recurring deposits into your credit union account. No more worries about a lost, stolen or mail-delayed check. Your money is electronically transferred to your account and available immediately.
Payroll Deduction
Designate part of your paycheck each payday to make a deposit or a loan payment - you choose the amount you want withheld. Funds can be allocated to any CU account you desire.
VISA TravelMoney Card - Better than a travelers check
- Make purchases at all VISA merchants worldwide
- Withdraw cash at any ATM with the VISA or PLUS logo
- Initial load on card can be any amount between $100 and $5,000
- Can be reloaded up to 3 times, via a secure Web site
- All the protection and security features you've come to expect from VISA (If your card is lost or stolen, your liability for unauthorized transactions is zero. PIN based transactions are not subject to the zero liability limit.)
- Check your balance, transactions, or report a lost/stolen card by calling a toll-free number or visiting www.cumoney.com
Initial cost of the card is $1.50. As a result of this new service, the Credit Union will be no longer offer American Express Travelers Checks and Gift Checks after June 15, 2008.
Money Orders
If you need a money order for any reason, we can help. Money orders may be purchased at the both credit union locations in amounts up to $1,000 for a nominal fee. Members pay $.50 for money orders up to $1,000. For non-members, all money orders cost $1.00.
Cashier’s Checks
Sometimes you need a cashier's check when paying for that special purchase such as a house or an investment. Cashier's checks are available at Kansas Blue Cross Blue Shield Credit Union, and can be purchased with funds in one of your Credit Union accounts at both of our convenient locations.
Cashier’s checks cost $1.50 each.
Amusement Park Tickets
Kansas Blue Cross Blue Shield Credit Union can help you get away from it all at a discount. We are happy to sell discount tickets to several regional amusement parks. If you are planning a trip to Kansas City or Branson, be sure to get your tickets to Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, Silver Dollar City, and White Water before you leave. Please plan ahead to stop by the lobby to purchase your tickets, as they are not available through the drive-up window.
